Deep in the heart

Dancing in moonlight
The rise and fall of a waltz
Circling left then right
~*~
stars shine upon us
my eyes never leaving hers
lost in their beauty
~*~
I’m slowly drawn in
Drawn to her sweet ruby lips
Electricity
~*~
then the music stops
slowly we walk hand in hand
into the garden
~*~
we sit on the bench
surrounded by rose bushes
she looks in my eyes
~*~
again our lips meet
softly at first then with need
I pull her closer
~*~
her body leaning
pressing hungrily to mine
we slide off the bench
~*~
I am mortified
the thorns are unforgiving
alas, so is she

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Oh dear, even the moonlight isn't giving you an equal chance.   But, this is well written anyway. Chris

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
