Flowers used to fill this room. Petals lined the floor. An aroma filled our senses, A rosy haze engulfed us both. Never thought this place might change, to another just so dark and cold. Frosty air- grey clouds looming. Foggy mists shroud our vision. Once so true, Now petty lies. Love turned faint, Transparent to our hearts. We drift from one another- And go our seperate ways. "I want love on my own terms; after everything I've ever learned. Me, I carry too much baggage..." |

Thanks guys! Aimster- Well I'm almost 19 now, and I've been writing basically since I was about nine yrs. I've been trying the poetry thing since I was about 15. Of course then I wasn't very good at all...lol... but I WAS writing. Although the grammar part of English sometimes bores me, it's the subject I usually like best because I get to write and be graded on it. Thanks for your interest.
