Deep in the heart

Sweet Smitten Kitten
I have picked up the gauntlet
and kneel before you
~*~
come sit on my lap
I will stroke you ‘til you purr
lift you in my arms
~*~
thence to the threshold
where we stop and our lips meet
as our passion grows
~*~
four-poster within
patiently awaits ardor
then the doorbell rings

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

You were saved by the bell
amorous Interloper
for there's something you don't know
Pleasure causes me to purr
but it coaxes
these claws of mine to show!

Hehehe   thank you so much for that!  Big hugs to you for making me smile

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

I had just invented the door bell and installed it the day before ... dang it!

No fear of being scratched, I was wearing my chain mail underwear

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Wow, these are all so awesome, I am in awe of the talent that you are exhibiting through all these threads. Way to go, and I love your reply about the chain mail underwear, not that I ever heard of them, but I'm sure they make for interesting conversation to say the least...LOL

Excuse me...pardon me....just wanted to stick this in my library.  It's not everyday someone rights a poem for me!

Hehehe   chain mail underwear?!

For now you've been saved
by your hardy underwear
but I'd wear armour next time
These claws look for the bare!
