Hand in Hand
By Larry Chadwick

It’s a tender moment, a gentle touch,
Part of the things that matter to me.
Knowing you love me, oh so much,
All that’s longing in my heart to be.

Taking those walks, we’re hand in hand,
Sharing together the dreams of this life.
Surging deep in the heart of this man,
The pride of knowing you are my wife.

Of all the things I wish we had done,
It would be having children with you.
With all the love and hope we share,
What a totally natural thing to do.

But amazingly what you’ve done for me,
Is loving my children and even more.
They truly think of you as their mom,
A woman they are truly able to adore.

It’s hard to think of many regrets,
Except that I found you in my life, late.
I’d rather we had an earlier start,
But thrilled you’re finally my mate.

Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either.  larry c

Awww!   This is beautiful!  Your wife must have melted upon hearing this.  What a tender way of showing your love.

Hugs,

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

What a beautiful love poem to your wife this is Larry. So, the funny man can be a big softie too huh????

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Absolutely wonderful, Larry. You have expressed your love for her in a way that brought tears of joy to my eyes for you both. Beautiful. Indeed a keeper.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
