Pearl Diving The idealist in you has risen, surfaced in unsure times into a stormy harbor. Around you, ships are being built, but not for trawling or exploring new worlds; in your music a net of verse forms, questioning: where are all the fishermen? Musicians stroll this pier, trumpeting the mood with each blue note, for everywhere there are women holding children, crying, waving goodbye as fathers, husbands, lovers and brothers drift away.
