...in my boxers...

I struggle to grasp the truth,
as my mind flows to and fray.
Emotions become uncouth;
some would blush at what I wish to say.
My mind can’t handle the fact you’ll never be mine.
I rip up the roots of the vine
that my desire for you has become.
As the pain pricks endless at me; I become numb.
Never will our hearts beat as one!
The magnitude of it hits as I slowly am undone.
I rip out my hair; I beat on my chest.
I slip into murky darkness; it dawns on me - my life is a mess.
Sitting in my dungeon of despair,
I realize you, nor I, nor anyone does care.
As I wish to end it once and for all,
I grasp quite gravely - you already have.

Oh my gosh...how incredibly sad. This poem clutched at my heart as I felt the sorrow and loss in your words. My heart goes out to you. I hope that soon love will lighten your heart again.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

A good description of a kind of hell.  (Hope it's not a permanent residence.)
