Ths sun filtered through the ivory curtains
bringing with it a brand new day
and she awoke with a sense of peace
a new resolution now lighting her way.

Inside she felt a certain sort of calmness
no longer was she afraid to face the light
but rather she reached out to embrace it
her visions now clearly within her sight.

She felt her  strength abounding
knowing not from whence it came
but she knew from this day forward
she would never be the same.

She strolled past the blooming orchards
to sit in her favorite wicker chair
no tears were falling from the willows
or from this lady, oh so fair.

She had made peace with herself
awaiting the coming of each 'morrow
for she had finally released the pain
that once held her in loves sweet sorrow.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Bravo! To make peace in our hearts that life does indeed go on seems like the Grand Canyon of a step. A wonderful heartfilled story that rings so true for each of us...but never so eloquently it seems. and so glad a beautiful ending. Fantastic muse my lady!

Sincerely,
Regina

The bittersweet sorrow of love conquered by this delicate southern lady is just a perfect ending.  Loved this.  *s*
