The heart of you

0 posted 2001-10-29 12:07 PM

I await the words
In cadence soft and sweet,
From you, the one
Who makes my heart complete.

Spoken from a heart
That I have grown to love.
Penned by a poet
I can't stop thnking of.

Speak to me again
Poet of my moonlight.
May love always be
In the words that you write.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

"arise fair sun, and kill the envious moon." oops, just noticed your signature. I thoroughly enjoyed your poem. Well done. Chris

*sigh*. This has a very enchanting quality about it and it is quite stunningly beautiful in its simplicity (no, simplicity is not the word I am looking for, but after a couple of pints, the word is not coming to me!!). Beautiful, serene and touching. A wonderful poem, I hope you show it to her and let her know what she means to you

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
