Unknown Evils

You run.

Feeling the icy firm grip
Of grabbing fingers.
Reaching for you being.

You hear the whispers
Of an unknown evil
Speaking to your soul.

Your body shudders
Feeling the chilling breath
Dance across your neck

You eyes wildly search
In the growing blackness
Knowing not where you roam

Your mind screams
As the unseen shadows
Grow closer… suffocating

Your soul begs silently
Slipping away… no control
Feeling their invasion

You feel your spirit flee
Bone chilling cold replacing
The departing warmth

Your ears hearing
Their gleeful evil cackles
As they move on

Searching for the innocent
To greedily consume
This halloween night

*giggling* Oh gosh this is a wonderful poem and so perfect for Halloween. I love it.

Watch out for thoses things that go bump in the nights.
