Pull me back into your warm embrace
help me put to rest my fears.
Let me touch again your handsome face,
reach and wipe away my tears.

So many trials have we both endured,
with bitter hearts we did inflict.
Let us kiss until our love's secured,
past pain that love will contradict.

Spoken vows that God will hold us to,
carry us through times of strife.
Let not friends and family judge us now,
your my husband.. I'm your wife.

My God knew before I knew of you
the paths in life that I would take.
The little things we both would do
and what a difference it would make.

We both have made mistakes my love,
but we need each other now.
And with the help we have from God above
we will make it through somehow.

Lucie,
Good poem. You express your feelings and emotions very well. You word choice and formatting are similarly beautiful.

Sincerely,
Titus

*sigh* A beautiful, heartfelt poem that touches the heart of the reader. Your talent truly shines when you speak of the love you have for your husband. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
