Sleep,
per chance to envision wonders
you've desired in daydreams.

Slip away where fantasy dwells;
where young hearts go to dance
and risk looking foolish.

Embrace all your wishes
like a child at play;
dance atop daffodils
like butterflies in summer
and sip from nature's nectar.

Climb the tallest mountain
and soar with the eagles.
Tip-toe through your daydreams
and make them come true.

Strum the golden harp;
embrace the rhytmic sunlight.

Ride whispering breezes
and land atop pop-corn clouds;
sink into magical softness;
then slide down
the kaleidoscopic rainbow
into Shagri-la.

I could use some of those popcorn clouds, and a slide down that rainbow would make my Saturday night complete (almost). of course, it sure would be lots more fun with a partner on the slide ride.

If I drifted off to Shagri-la

I long for freedom in nature's arms,
So I'd be a beautiful butterfly!

I am very much a lover of fantasy so this beautiful poem filled my thirst for it. I was able to lose myself in a world of your making. I also love Josephine Wall's work and have used much of it on my site. BRAVO!!!This poem is a masterpiece. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Hey! You guys thanks ever so much for the kind and loving comments... Let us all go bouncing on pop-corn clouds and tumble down the magical rainbow.... where we can swim together in the pot of love at the end....
