The Rest of Larry C’s Shopping Trip

The pharmacist had such a puzzled look,
Time for an explanation is what he took.
They’re for an eighty year old lady,
Her friends they call her Sadie.

She laughed until she was about to cry,
Larry C thought he would rather die.
It wasn’t all the story, there was more,
He’d rather he was heading for the door.

It’s wet here we get a lot of rain,
Laughing so hard she was in pain.
They smoke outside, it’s the rule,
They’ll get wet, just like in the pool.

When it’s really starting to pour,
They don’t just head back in the door.
They take a condom from the pack,
Pull it o’er the lit smoke like a sack.

They can’t afford this habit it’s plain to see,
Why they don’t quit is a mystery to me.
They’re addicted to what they smoke,
It is hard to quit that is no joke.

Lucie had wandered off in the store,
But wandered back to hear some more.
How do you know what size to get?
If they fit a Camel than she is set.

The pharmacist bent over to howl some more,
While Lucie she was passed out on the floor.
Pushing the wheelchair down the aisle,
Larry looked back at her with a smile.
