He took me to heaven
a place I rarely visit.
Oh that it could have been forever,
immersed in his warmth
holding back tomorrow
which came all to soon.
Even as I laid there
replete with his bittersweet love
I saw the end draw near
and my resolve faltered
My hands
moved of their own accord
They did not want to let go.
Never wanted to say goodbye.
I said I wouldn't cry.
I lied.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sandra, my heart goes out to you! (sad sigh) My heart breaks in these sad words of lost love, and I too pray so much you cry, but in tears of joy to holding close to true loves heart forever! (sigh) I promise that very soon you will be embraced by such beautiful love that will lift you to paradise eternally! I know of a great way to forget these feelings, even if it is only for a while. We'll go to N'Awlins and drink, dance and be merry. We'll put that smile back on your face!!! *hugs*

crying is a good thiing, a very good thing....healthy, cleansing...hands often don't want to let go..... but to write that line is light years ahead of those who don't understand the reality of having to before letting the tide sink your own ship

I know the heartache and disappointment as you realize that another opportunity is lost but I also know that new moments of love can come very quickly to a heart that prepares itself for new opportunities...James

Words of comfort or wisdom fail me right now. Just know there are a lot of folks in here that know you are special and are wishing the best for you. Tears are good sometimes. They help wash away the bitterness. Dan

Sometimes..we visit heaven with someone...briefly..because that is what it is..a dream...that might not have been if it were to last. There are moments for us that are like jewels that we will carry forever. Even if brief...still a shining moment. Thank you for reminding me of that.
