Where have all the visions gone and stayed, which filled my mind?
Why when I have time to spare, are words so hard to find?
I sit and do just normal things, which simply pass the time
Where’s that little voice within, which helped each verse to rhyme?

Too many things consume my life to give time out for pleasure
Work and just the many chores consume ones time and leisure
The tap of wisdom and recall, just stopped its constant seep
The words which used to leach my pen are trapped and also weep

I wish to share some time with friends, who constantly do give
The works of which inspire me and make my writing live
But somehow just preoccupied, by life and each event
In hope of some enlightenment, to come with words of sent

I do a little piece of work, then loose the words that speak
The writer’s block that sometimes comes, near drives me mad and weak
But slowly it is turning; as on each day I try
I look so forward to relieve, when gloom I wave goodbye

Wave goodbye to the ties that keep you from releasing your poeticus freneticus...nice to meet you, Rick. G'day.

Well, I see you've found my shoes and decided to try them on.  Not a good fit, because you just penned this treasure!  A wonderful read!  Thank you!

Well keep waving goodbye to it because this poem is wonderful. *grin* maybe spring is the sweetness you needed to have the words flow so strong and free. I am really looking forward to enjoying more of your poems. You have a fine talent that draws the inner eye to get lost in the visions you weave. I love it. Write on, please.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

The sweet words a poet whose block inspires the heart should be brought back up to the top.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
