Once again I pull back blankets to my empty bed
Although I’ve had lovers, no one has shared my space
Moments of passion no match for the loneliness I dread
Once I had you to hold but now it's not the case

OH! to share the warmth that only lovers provide
Someone to hold and fill the void that is my heart
Lying entwined and naked with nothing to hide
Remember never wanting to leave till death do us part?

I took you for granted when in my arms you laid
Now tears take your place and wash you away
Because although I lay in a bed that I made
You make the decision to keep it that way

Lets Love one another and let God do the worrying,
Rodney

Wonderful, sad, but love this ending. so powerful!

"Because although I lay in a bed that I made
You make the decision to keep it that way"
