I heard the echo of his love
so strong, it resonated real
But it was simply that which was
no longer there for me to feel.

A moments treasure, back in time
into his arms and heart again
Apparently love is my crime
he claims to now be only friends.

My heart is stranded in his wake
my dreams have faded into smoke.
I gave my all, and he did take
and now it all seems a cruel joke.

Can heart so broken twice be healed?
perhaps I should just leave it lay
in pieces round his heart of steel
and hope he feels my pain someday.

He will dear and only then will he understand.

This was sadly beautiful.

It doesn't matter what he feels ... only what you feel and why.

Sandra,

I sense a great deal of pain.  Of a love
lost,  not what they said they were.
No one should ever love another falsely.
The pain of the loss is very great.  I
hope you can recover from this.  I wish you
well.

Very emotive with such raw aching emotion~

I'm pretty sure you don't really wish anyone to feel the pain you're experiencing right now~

Healing begins when you're ready ... you'll get there~

Catalinamoon,

I totally understand where you are coming from in these words. I too am healing from being burned the same way. I hope you find a way to let your heart heal. I know it is difficult, but we have to believe it is possible and we will no longer have to hear the "false echo's" of their words.

(sad sigh) Oh Sandra, this is so so sad, and I know of the sadness you're going through! (big hugggsssssss) The healing all begins when finally we take the time to think it over, and I promise this time will pass and your heart will again be embraced by the most beautiful, heavenly love that will have your heart beating with joy! (sigh) I just know it will, for your heart always glows with love and sweetness! (big hugggssssss) My heart is always with you, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

What goes around comes around. I too hope he feels someday what he lost in you. My heart goes out to you, dear one, for you only wished to give your all when to him it seemed just a game of the heart. *sigh* Does one ever find a man who is honest and sincere who wants as much love as we have to give? I do not know the answer to my question for I think that kind of man is rare indeed. ***hugs***

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I've learned that the heart is stronger than we think . . . and that there's nothing like love that can heal it. . .

the words are still coming. . . and that's good. . .

Sandra, You are writing about it and that's good.  Just the fact that you are writing is good....but, to let the hurt out this way is even better.  !hugs, Nancy~

Many have stood where you now see
many have come, much like me.
The heart is a muscle still,
exercised by love and will
and grows from every plea.

I believe you have all ready grown from
all your pain, cast it now to the waters of life and cherish the knowledge it has given you for finding what you really deserve ...
true love. Hold true Sandra.

This is a very touching poem. I don't understand why men want to play with our heart. I hope you will get over this, soon.

My dear Sandra...  I've been "out of the loop" for a little bit, and this was a very melancholy portrait to find hanging on PIP's wall...  I know of the emotions to which you refer all too well...  intimately well.  I send you a strong heart-hug and an empathetic smile, for indeed, "this too shall pass," though it will probably take its sweet time.  My advice, if you care for it, is to learn from all that's transpired, savour the positive moments, and forgive the not so positive ones, knowing that you went into it with the best of intentions and with a pure heart -- Love can never be wrong when it's honest.  Peace to you, my friend.

Tis the stronger heart which yields to Love and the steely one which is left in the cold to move it's callous blood at a sad pace. This will pass and you'll be the better.

Tenderly wrap all these emotions up in pretty tissue paper and place them in a shoe box.

Then put it in the bottom of your closet...throw a bunch of shoes and junk on top of it...and close the door!

He does NOT deserve you nor anything else from you now.

And I say this with a lving heart dear friend...and you know it, too.  I wish you well, please be well.

And I love this piece of work...lovely indeed

I just have to say, to all of you here who have taken time to give comforting and thoughtful words, I love you. Honestly I do. It's odd how ones own family and close friends can give less in these kinds of times, and friends of the forum give more. Interesting observation..
Anyway thank you all so much.

Sanda, I truly felt your words, and as for the comfort felt here, it is a simple fact that we are able to clearly and without any obligations, or expectations express how we "really" feel, so I would say you are really loved.  The healing place is there for you and you will find it. Hugs.
