 ~*~ Your Rose ~*~ I am your rose soft and delicate Keep me A precious gift to your heart Dipped forever in your every breath Keep me close Close There near your heart In your pocket A token never Totally known Yes…keep me there And I’d remain Silent Listening to your heart beats Trembling with every breath you take As I feel the movement of air When you inhale it mixed with my scent Feeling cold and freezing Whenever you take me off That safe place Where I belong most. Dozing safely As I listen to that echoing music Of your beats And wake up as the rhythm changes To a faster one Whenever you hear my name And you whisper it again And again As you remember the visions I left there Held in your eyes Eternally. You touch my petals And shiver Making me shiver more than before Wondering why do you shiver Do you remember the velvet touch of me? Do you yearn for it secretly? Lost in my thoughts I was… And you…? Lost in worlds of me Or so it seems Silence was between us Counted with your breath I was dozing Surrounded by you And half the way To dreams Suddenly My world shook The walls trembled And I found myself falling Falling From that lofty height Near your heart What happened? I didn’t know The world was gliding fast And that’s all I saw Frightened I closed my eyes So not to see That I’d end up Far down From my place Tears gathered in me Screams mounted my every breath Did u see them? Did you hear them? I didn’t know I didn’t wish to see All that I saw Falling so fast Yet so slow But…. As I was getting so near The edge I fear Your fingers Caught me Your hand held me Desperately And I was caught in a wind Of your breath As you looked at me Closely And whispered “Are you safe?… Were you hurt? Oh…..forgive me It was my sigh The hurricane of my sigh That caused you to fall Lost in my dreams of you I didn’t see that I was about to lose you” A reassuring touch A soft hush A delicate kiss And I was back again Where I should remain In that safe place To hear your musical refrain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you |
