I walk along a country lane,
...in dark of eve's unfold,
Forever lost in silent screams,
...in stories never told,
Tales of trampled innocence,
...dark demons ever kept,
Amidst the pain of haunting sorrows,
...as silent angels wept,
From forth the darkness evil leapt,
...came one to one with sin,
Skin to skin, hate's piercing sting,
...hate lances deep within,
I walk along a country lane,
...in dark of eve's unfold,
As echoes of a rising wind,
...cry stories never told.

"Forever lost in silent screams,
...in stories never told,"

Sadly, there are so many silent screamers out there, whose stories will never be told. But with the help of your words, perhaps a muffled scream at least could be heard, and felt, and some lost soul may be comforted somewhere along that country lane, and know they did not cry in vain.
It is a sad poem, but very beautifully written.

Indeed - If that country lane could talk... The stories it could tell would defy imagination.. This is a good'n, Tim..

Smiling...not because it's a happy subject, but because I DO understand. Beautifully written.
