I'm off to counting sheep again some 300 I will see
I take my van and hit the road four days I will be free
Up to the North to heatherland the origin of the breed
Good humor and my cigarettes is really all I need
I'm looking forward to this trip for I enjoy the ride
Five hours it will take me but I sure will love the sight
My husband stays at home although he too does love the sheep
but not alive that much he said more stewed in gravy deep
I'll take some pics to show you guys the lovely sight of heather
Hope these days it will not rain but I don't command the weather
Saturday and Sunday we will visit some twentysix places
On areas where men won't come to look at sweet sheepfaces
And when I'm there I will go around to my sisters place as well
she lives in the middle of a forest in a cosey house I can tell
She has a really tiny horse and the little donkey is his friend
twenty cats, some chickens and ducks, two dogs she has to attend
So Mondayafternoon when I will have finished the inspections
I'll turn my car and drive towards home following the directions
I took the Tuesday off as well to recover this tired body of mine
tell my adventures, look at the pics while sipping a glass of wine
So you have to do without me but be sure I will come back
till then I'm saying just goodbye I'm off to follow the old sheeptrack

Enjoy the trip, sounds like it's gonna be fun. And bring the photo album back to show us.

Titia, sounds like a wonderful trip you're about to take, maybe a bit tiring in the long run, but when you see the pics you'll know it was a trip well worth taking. Thanks for sharing the adventure, wish I was coming along with you.

Your poem was a fantastic report of the days to come, and I can hardly wait to see the pictures of the heather Titia.  Wow, would I love to be in the truck with you, this sounds like so much fun.  You take such awesome pictures, can you take a picture of your sisters house too?  We will miss you sweet lady, and I look forward to hearing from you on your return.  Have a safe, and wonderful trip. x o

Thanks my friends, I'm off tomorrowafternoon.
And it will be fun and I will send you some pics cause it's a marvellous part of the country.
End of next month I have to go to Luxembourg for the sheep.

Anybody wants some Drenten Heathsheep? Duncan??? And then I'll come to the States to inspect them

Till next week.
