United

Oh say can you see
Should we fight, to be free?
By the dawns early light
The light of God, shining so bright
What so proudly we hailed
United we stand, We cannot fail
At the twilight's last gleaming?
The Stars and Stripes, A light a beaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars
Helped to make us; heals the scars
Through the perilous fight
Led by the grace, Of God's great light
O'er the ramparts we watched
The battles the wars, What have we taught?
Were so gallantly streaming?
Glowing with strength, Powerful gleaming
And the rockets red glare
The light of war, The loss unfair
The bombs bursting in air
A fight 'til the end, A battle of flare
Gave proof through the night
God's strength with us, To make it right
That our flag was still there
Our country’s strength, they could not tear
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
Flying high in the wind, giving grand display
O'er the land of the free
The land of grace, And opportunity
And the home of the brave?
Our home of unity, The soldiers did save

A tribute in honor of Francis Scott Key; for writing such a beautiful verse
To the soldiers of then and now.... May God bless America!
