My mom said I was a gift from hell.
Energy IS--the rest --perception.
My dad told me
that faeries
rang bells at my conception.
My aunt said I was gypsy child--
she knew the look of something wild...

I am but a scorpion.
The finisher of things undone.
And no you'll never feel my sting...
for I am Scorpion with WINGS.

Ah, sweet serenity. You took away my sting and left me with a wing. Only a true friend can do that.

I like that I cannot quite tell, who wrote what!  That is a sign of a good duet!

I kind of can tell! Can this be a contest?  Figure out who wrote what?  I can start the darn thing - the line about the gypsy child was done by Serenity?
"My aunt said I was gypsy child--

And Midnightsun...Yikes, a Scorpion!

Okay so no one wants to play and be silly, but I loved seeing something fun done by two of my favorites.    Great job you two!

LOL and I'll never tell who came from Hell and who was dropped by a Gypsy's spell. Some already know, though.
Thanks, Duncan and Mysteria. (Serenity will no doubt jump in here after the owls come out)

An interesting piece of work here.  I like it a lot and I CAN tell who wrote what, but I ain't sayin'.    LOL!  Nice work and would love to see another duet by you two.

This was fun and a bit of whimsy on my part! Thanks, midnitesun for indulging me...and there is no mystery, I was simply trying to point out to midnite that there was poetry in her replies!!! grin...and the rest of you will have to dig to figure out the rest!
Thanks all! And HUGS to midnitesun!
