Lift My Wings

Sailing along the oceans of life
Finding the freedom to be myself
Cannot do it all on my own
I seek the stars, the moons, the waters
Stopping for a few moments in tatters
I reach out for nature's best rainbow
Sitting below the comfort, away from sorrow
Delighted to see butterflies of all colours
I moved on with knowledge and tears
Realising that I am alone with me
Until the new dawn I will wake and wait
To find the winds to lift my wings
Taking me to rest in eternity's meadow

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)
