Yearning

Reaching for dreams never to be,
lost within shining mist
Open arms ready to receive
still wanting to be kissed

Visions filling me with desire
my heart yearning to burn
Romance unable to resist
yet, not for me I learn

Softness of the night surrounds me
wrapping me again in dreams
I lay my head down still seeking,
yearning for love it seems

we all look for love
have you ever thought just how many people you pass every day want and need to be loved
the species is wanting
we should have a sort of green thing that sticks out when we need love
then people would know
and hold each other

nice; well expressed. i've known these feelings long and long. i particularly like the flow. the words flow. not everyone can manage this. great job.

Seems every time I think I've reached my dreams they get yanked out from underneath me. I'm trying to be patient in trying to find Mr. Right, but sometimes it can be so dang hard.
