On A Journey To The Unknown

0 posted 2001-10-21 08:55 PM

Today, I went to where you were laid
Can not remember where you stayed
I looked and looked for you all around
Searching, looking all over the ground
Up and down I went, along each row
Feelings of anxiety were starting to grow
It felt like my heart was going to stop
Tears in my eyes were starting to drop
So much fear started building inside
The fear I was trying so hard to hide
Where you were, I just had no clue
It broke my heart not to find you

Ah Sue this is so sad. Such a young age to lose a brother. Did you eventually find his grave? If not, the graveyard office should have the record and be able to tell you. *Hugs*

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

sometimes when I go to visit my father, I panic when I can't seem to find his headstone..and yet I know he's there...

Sue,
Tracey is right. Don't give up. I can't imagine the dread of that moment. I'm so sorry you had to experience that.
