Days of Green

Sometimes I wake,
feeling the shame of thoughts inside,
when that is all I have to bury.

I am trying to be thankful
for the life I have,
the tomorrows I will live,
the yesterdays I leave behind.

Somedays, I eat my words for breakfast.
When full, deposit the overflow here,
knowing that they are inadequate,
doing little justice to my life.

And on a day like today,
the air crisp with newness,
I try to conform to the truth,
using sound reasoning,
leaving arguments behind.

I am in *My Salad Days,
When I am green in judgement."

Day by day,
through meditation and reflection,
I am learning to evaluate,
to appreciate, what life has to offer.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Wynter, I believe we all have these days where we are so eager in learning about ourselves and others; I too feel I'm in my salad days! (sigh) You are a very loving friend to us all and as long as you follow your beautiful heart, you will find all your sweet heart desires and you will find justice! (smiles) Wonderful poem of thoughts and wisdom, dearest friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Wynter, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

nakdthoughts,

I believe I too am in my "salad days". Today was the first day in a long time though that I felt I was truly appreciating all that life had to offer me. Hopefully I can move forward from this day on.

You do not know the feast you prepare for us with your words. I would sit down to break bread with you any time. Another masterpiece from your heart.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Very nice,

Sometimes being thankful takes insight,
And when looking in hindsight,
We finally can see.
