A Friend To Me

In time of need
against relentless wind
we look for support
that will bend
to the weight of circumstances
to be faced, lifetime difficulties
deep rooted and embraced.
... my bending tree.

To one thats not tall
but silently strong
that can branch the difference
between right and wrong
knows how to listen
asorbing by nature
the woes and wisdom
of past, present, and future.
... hear my plea.

Shelter me
with arms heaven bound
from the storms which
life and death have found
comfort me
showing me my way
destined through the wood
to another day.
...a friend to me.

Lovely. Friends are so important, in our good times as well as our bad

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
