The Cow, the Cat & the Moon
By Larry Chadwick

Did you ever wonder,
How that face got on the moon?
Why, do you think,
The plate ran away with the spoon?

Let me get in the middle,
And tell what I know.
The cat with the fiddle,
He told me so.

It happened when the cow,
You remember, jumped over the moon.
There was a boy on the cow,
And he fell off way too soon.

So...the face on the moon is from the little boy who fell off the cow too soon....but, he is okay because everyone knows the moon is made of cheese so he has plenty to eat...I think I have it now.  Thanks Larry.

Ok, so now I know about the face and the cow. But where the heck is my dish and spoon?

Startime,
Cool! Thanks for reading that to her. Glad you liked it.   You'd never guess I love kids, huh?

Enchantress,
Okay, so it's a silly theory. I confess!

Midnitesun,
Well, they're being held ransom for the return of Marges works! :|

Duncan,
Hey...Thanks!

This is cute indeed. I'm gonna save it to read to my neice. She'll get a giggle out of it.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

We are kindred spirits aren't we. Is that why the rodeo calls it 8 seconds? I love the whimsy in our hearts...makes us remember a warm and laughing time!
