Comes now the night
as light of day
to darkenss yields,
a soothing calm
from mountain's peak
to golden fields.

Upon the wings
of whispered wind,
sings vespertine,
a madrigal,
a lover's waltz,
will you be mine?

Sweet satin kiss
upon the brow
'mid evening's mist,
I taste your lips,
I hold you close
in lover's tryst.

As one we dance
in love's ballet,
while god's above
in chorus sing
of passion's fire;
or Eros' love.

O' precious Rose,
I gaze upon
your unmatched splendor,
and cede to you
eternal love,
my heart's surrender.

MY GOODNESS....gasp...wait a sec, lemme wipe off these sweaty palms...

There, that's better.

Totally mesmerizing and a lovely dance of words here...this is the kind of thing a lady wants written for HER, okay, at least read to her. At a picnic. A PRIVATE picnic.
