She feels fragile as a lavender rose
not quite as strong as the vibrant reds' glow
nor innocent as the delicate white
she is lavender, a sunsets' delight.

She's not bright pink, to imply loves endure
lavender blossoming love still in blur
adrift she is, in her soft scented need
lavender love, may it soon come to seed.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sandra, I've missed you so so much! (smiles) I could imagine such a beautiful sunset of this color, when love dawns! (sigh) Part ruby red of love, part satin white of innocence, sooooooo lovely! (kiss on cheek) I LOVE IT!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

A magnificent poem that leaves us with the scent of a lavender rose. I love it. So very well said.

It's great to see you back posting again and this time with two poems.    I loved this, by the way.

I don't think I've ever seen a lavender Rose
but I'm sure it can't be any more wonderful than your thoughts written here

She is all that's meant to be
in a color rare to rose
She is precious to my sight
lavender...only she knows.
