If only I could always choose
the right from the wrong
If only I didn’t lose
the short stick to the long.

If only we could all
just let our anger go.
If only I could call
and ask you who I know.

If only I could say
the thoughts that I do feel.
If only there was a way
to live with that I deal.

If only I knew my words
that I wished to write.
The bees, the flying birds.
A meal that tasted right.

If only I could do
as they all wish I would.
I would be there too,
I only wish I could.

(sigh) I too know that feeling where my thoughts don't come out the way I want them, but all the while I am so blessed and happy to be able to share a piece of myself! Magnus, how many of us ask ourselves that same question and how often? If only I could find the words to say what's in my heart...the poem would be oh so.....great. We all fumble trying to find the right words or things to say or do....I usually just end up spitting out the first thing that comes to mind...but, that can get me into hot water...sorry, starting to ramble here....
