Whisper In Your Ear

Please take me on a pleasure flight,
as gift of words you weave
While sitting under starlit night
your magic I believe

Flames leaping in the hearth reflect
the vision that unfolds
I gaze at you in awed respect
all my attention holds

Lost to this world of noise and strife
I melt into your poem
Transported from this dreary life
traveling from my home

My nightly dreams you have inspired
with visions of delight
When free to feel what I desired
from passions you incite

So weave your spell around me now
with written words so dear
And moving close will you allow
a whisper in your ear?

whisper in my ear
my poetry shall be yours
until my melting

Some whispers go on heard ... wouldn't this be a shame!
The warmth of this one travels far.
I may come back to hear it again.
