Bronte stood as a statue
Baby powdered with glittering dust
Like that of a pillar of sugar
Until a taxi reared its ugly horn

Her pen magnetized to her hand
Dazed, She began to pour the scene
Shaking herself clean of thoughts
Sifting through her recollection

Fervently she described her stranger
His Beacon still spotting her vision
In quickest strokes she wrote
Harboring each word of maiden voyage

“His hair of platinum clouds..
His skin of molten bronze...
With a cleft copper kiss of chin
And the eyes...archaic patina glaze”

The whitewash of comfort came
Like some nostalgic memory
That bruised her heartstream
With the thickness of warm milk

There was nothing fearful within her
Her intrigue a natural antidote
Even the gentle noise flapping inside
Breezed that of sheets out on the line

She wrote unconcerned of ache
Until her lids eclipsed her eyes
She fell off her pointed perch
With the last word scribbled to sleep

She entered limbo dissolved to a mist
Only to appear in a hovering dance
Taking the hand of her Lugh
Swaying, embracing in the wed of Loch

Together they twirled atop dark waters
As a ghostly play of swirling smoke
Never touching dry land, never pausing
Ever so lightly rippling the surface

Through the beauty of color and motion you lead us through your tale. Magnificent spendour is painted in your words. I love the vision of it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Regina, You continue to benchmark this series with crisp imagery, and magnetic appeal. I especially enjoyed the sixth stanza.

Captivating again the senses..you continue your story... very nice imagery in this and a slow slide into the mists and fogs of sleep....ending in the journey through dimensional reality...

Again and as usual... very impressed...

Regina, this flows beautifully from your pen.  Your imagery is perfection!  Enjoyed.
