I don't know what to think of it both daughters fly by plane
They tell me not to worry but I think that's not so insane

The youngest one our Lynn Karijn to Orlando she is going
Enjoying a little holiday with her partner in a huge Boeing
They will be staying at Pompanobeach and Alamo as well
But I'm just a silly mother who recently learned there is a hell

The oldest daughter Iske May she's going a bit further away
She and her inlaws booked a trip and in Bali they will stay
Don't you worry Mom she said I'm sure we'll be quite well
But I'm just a silly mother who recently learned there is a hell

But then, they could drop dead tomorrow hell isn't always far you know
So I decided not to worry just keep them in my heart when they go

A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess...

Nothing silly about worrying when they're your girls and I'm sure they love you for it.

I am a mother and a grandmother and I think we have the perfect right to worry about our children. Nothing silly in it at all. My prayers will be with them as they travel. A heartfelt poem that is very well said.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Spoken as a only a mother can. I fly fairly often, either on business or pleasure, and I must admit, it still doesn't worry me. The security is much tighter now, maybe I'm naive, but I don't believe it will happen again. I'm sure your daughters will have wonderful holidays.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Titia~
Not so 'silly' in my book, Mom~
My son needed to go to Atlanta for his company this week ...
no planes ... no sir ! !
He had them rent him a car for the trip.

His wife and I smiled~

Now ... when is Lynn and friend coming into Orlando ?
E-mail me ! !
*Hugs*

Titia,
We always stress about our kids, huh?  Now about that assumption of hell...  Thanks for the poem.

Hugs to you, mom. I would worry too, but what good does it do?
My youngest brother works in Angola and flies back and forth to California twice a month. His wife never worries, she is busy raising their two kids, says Stevie can take care of himself, and that life must go on no matter what. I'm not that strong, but guess it doesn't pay to worry, it only wrinkles your brain and your forehead.

Know what you mean...if all goes as planned I will be flying in December and I will be checking everyone out very closely...if I get suspicious look out...I'll be checking their luggage myself...James

Thanks sweet friends.
Well, I'm not too concerned, but you think about it more than usual.

Sweet Marge just kept me up to date, till they arrived at Orlando Airport.
Thanks sweet friend, it was fun and who knows, maybe you'll meet them.

BIG HUGS to all of you,

Titia

What fun it was to keep Orlando International Airport on their toes !   Small world when you and I can be 'baby sitting' at the same time~

Thanks for the hotel info - will give those girls a call~

BIG HUGS~

(big huggsssssssssss) Oh Titia, I know just how you feel; though I am almost 18 years old and have never been a parent, I feel for parents all the time and sad to see my siblings go on and live away from me, and while I miss them dearly, I am also so proud of them and know they will find all their dreams and will succeed. (sigh) Such a wonderful poem that your golden heart shines with compassion and understanding of your loved ones! You are never a silly mother, you are a very loving one. You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Titia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Titia:  Your concerns are not surprising at all!  Everyone is trying to go back to a "normal" life, but those dreaded memories of what has happened keep creeping in.  My daughter works for a company that used to fly here all over, but since Sept. 11th, they have had her driving and no place out of the country. I know I will feel as you do when she starts flying again!
