Step Closer to the Flame I heard you know about wild romance and were the kind of man willing to take a chance to abandon fear throwing caution to the wind convincing me hearts don’t break they bend then step right up if that’s the man you are you could be just the man I’m looking for for my hearts been hurting but starting to heal been numb too long it’s time to feel but this time around this woman’s not so tame so if I haven’t scared you yet… step closer to the flame "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare |

I know the power of flame, The burning desires that consume, The heat the can’t be tamed, Burning out much too soon. Wouldn’t you rather something less, Not blinding just a little bit dimmer, Or are you moth-like to brightness, What’s wrong with a slow simmer? Gloom |

there is nothing wrong with a simmer but the flame I had was just a glimmer too long upon the burner back time to get myself on track |
