In the space between moments

0 posted 2001-10-17 11:21 PM

A moment is poised
In twinkling, crystal sanctity
As ever so softly,
A hallowed breath is drawn
And ancient devotion is relived
Within the quiver
Of a single sigh.

The luster of  a lover’s eyes
Breeches the confines of time
To glimmer in her dreams...
The magnificence of him
Still renders her breathless,
Even from far beyond
The shadowy twilight of death.

The tendrils of her spirit
Wind tightly around his memory
(soulmates intertwined)
And the sacred embrace
Of a cherished, immortal love
Is relived in every shiver
Of her dying body.

A final sparkle of energy
Exhales from her limbs
As she finally chooses the moment
To live in his waiting arms
Eternally.

This is really quite a beautiful story of two lovers re-uniting in eternity. Good imagery.

Beautiful writing as always, dear heart. A tale of love rendered grandly. I can feel the shivers of her body as life leaves her and yet she seems enraptured, called into the unfailing arms of her love. It pains me that love like that is taken from this earth, but fills me to brimming with joy that they will forever be joined.

Loved this piece greatly, last breaths and first moments of this woman's life. Wondeful, precious

*sigh* eternal love, what could be more perfect than to spend eternity with your soulmate? Forever intertwined in their loving embrace. BRAVO!!! I LOVE THIS ONE.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
