My heart is filled with tears,
But I have forgotten how to cry,
How to feel, to love.
Then the wind calls my name.

A tree is a loved one passed,
Its branches are desperate hands,
Reaching for the heavens,
Thirsty for love,

I close my eyes and let go,
Of objects and stereotypes,
And drop a tear of love,
Love for living my life,

A tear shakes the earth,
And is absorbed by a tree,
Who now transends to the heavens,
A soul rescued by love.

this is a lovely and clever poem of imagery and analogy,
love the metaphor of the tree.
