Reined Reign ~ A Matter of Control ~ O the many many ways of control that which would loose me but still holds or would it just lose me this thing called restrict it’s thinnest line would trip and trick what, come wordy game look skyward ~ face the falling rain ~ lose control before it looses me I face each day most readily Write in rhyme no ~ free verse! structure this or just rehearse let it flow No! tighten the lines! shall I stay silly? or be refined? Oh Control! give me back my bloody head and let me not face words of dread no let me rein in and crown pagan then soothe my soul with richer paeans let me play and reign supreme let me be the rein in queen [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 10-16-2001).] |

Karilea, yes, a poem about control. This is so thought provoking. The worst thing about control in poetry in my mind is writing for any other reason other than what you, yourself feel.
