Dreamers
"Collecting Thoughts"

In visions, shall I piece my dreams
Collecting thoughts with rainbowed seams,
Allowing light through shadows, streams.

But why escape, do I, to dreams?
Confinement freed, in quest I seek,
A truer love, that thoust bespeak.

In fantasy, my heart grows weak.
Yields to longings, to fulfill
As darkness covets, awaits there, still

As shadows rise in moonlight, 'til
His whispers settling on my heart
Quickening rhythms begin their art,

Teasing as the night's depart,
Leaves me wanting, this love to hold
To reign the dark in colours bold.

A rainbowed love to share, unfold
In peaceful dreams, I fantasize,
Collecting thoughts through prismed eyes.

"Essence of Dreams"

What comes to mind in dark of night,
That which invades the mind with sight,
Where forth comes that dreamers light?

The activities of my being fade with the night
When my eyes are close for my sleep to take,
My inner eye begins to form in realities wake,

Never knowing where my dreams will take,
Through pleasant passage or nightmare’s hold,
Into the cauldron of fire or left out in the cold

Will my dreams be fearful or will they be bold,
These things before the dream takes I never know
Transformed to a shrinking coward or becoming the hero.

Dreams that are coming from deep in my minds shadow,
Released to the nighttime travels of chaotic fantasy,
To places I desire in wish which might or might not be.

In fantasy I dream collect, thoughts to share, embrace to hold.
To dream or not, I wake to sleep, to capture rainbows, treasured gold.

*sigh* beautifully done. Now if only such dreams could take form in reality. This is a magnificent poem and deserves a STANDING OVATION for you both.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
