A story I will tell to you it’s about the Gladrag tree
They’re everywhere you look for them but they’re very hard to see
Cus Gladrags don’t just show themselves to any passing dude
Some people even say the Gladrags can be….. kind of rude

So if you want to see a Gladrag listen closely I will tell
You can’t mistake a Gladrag …….it’s got a certain smell
There’s teems of Gladrags all around but they hardly say a word
But on a clear still morning you’ll hear them  talking with the bird

‘What birds this’I hear you say’ I’m getting all mixed up’
The Gladrag bird you silly thing then there’s the Gladrag pup
‘Now that’s is quite ridiculous you can’t have Gladrag dogs’
Oh yes you can there’s Gladrag fish, Gladrag bears and even Gladrag Logs

So now you see we’re back to trees the centre of this tale
And how to spot them in your life this problem I will nail
If there’s anything you can’t work out and life is sorta mean
Just blame the Gladrag anythings they’re known but never seen

An example of this philosophy I’ll recite right now for you
When you get blamed for anything bring the Gladrags in on queue
You’re mum comes in and shouts at you ‘Your room is in a mess’
‘Honest mum it wasn’t me’ the Gladrags again I guess

Dear Jon, Well then, that explains why the laundry didn't get done yesterday - it was those darned Gladrags!! Good one, Chris

LOL this is so cute. When I lived in England, Gladrags referred to your best going out clothes. If you were going out for a night on the town, you put your "Gladrags" on. I still use the expression myself. This Gladrags is a new one on me, but I somehow think I like it better

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
