Sipping From A Golden Chalice

Surrounded by the softness of pure gold
The inside shines brightly like silver stars
Polished to glisten as in days of old
Precious gems replace all indents of mars
Pearls that will show this vessels' purity
Turquoise, the brilliant depths of the oceans
Diamonds of sparkling maturity
Rubies reflect passions of emotions
Feather soft kiss from tender lips divine
Passions grow with deep emotions sublime
Sipping from a Golden Chalice, her wine
Sweetly aged very gently over time
Filling heart and soul with the touch of lips
While his arms around this treasure he slips

I love this - so vividly romantic.

I can taste the wine upon my lips and the
chalice lies beside me,  sated by wine and
love.   Beautiful read.
