In my heart I found you But it’s no great mystery I’ve always known somehow That you were a part of me You were just waiting till I got there Till I turned ‘round life’s bend And ran into the one I’d always call my friend It’s funny how in that moment That we both could recognize It only took a second To see that spark in your eyes Mirroring the glimmer That shone from inside of me Oh yes, friends forever We surely would be Distance stands between us Each with a hectic day to day But in your heart you know The words I’ll always say Dear friend of mine, I love you For all time….endlessly Now and forever more I remain yours…..Sue Bee ~SEA~ *for Todd* "One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you |

I was just down at the pub for a friends 50th birthday tonight. If I'd seen your poem before I went, I'd have asked if I could have read it for him. This is a lovely tribute to friendship.
