So Skillful When Versed

Being no longer wanted
My heart is falling down
Reaching for the bottom
Sad emotions to drown

In drowning my feelings
Letting my sorrow pour
My heart had to realise
It was wanted no more

Perhaps I deserved this
Heart drowning in grief
I was happily led astray
Deluded by false belief

So skillful when versed
His words he paraded
Mind absorbed eagerly
I was gently persuaded

My heart pained today
Reading between lines
His worded seduction
Over another he shines

Hey there “sweet lady”
Words so often he said
Why? for what purpose
He toyed with my head

*sigh* Hope, believe me I know just what you mean. It is so easy to believe when we want to love and trust so much. I have learned many hard lessons from things like this and now will keep my heart hidden from any love I may seek. My heart goes out to you, dear one. I join with you in your pain.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
