I've always imagined
That after I die
Someone will ask
And I'll tell them why
"My life was horrible,"
I'll begin to say
"Filled with the pain
That life brings each day."
But I'm going to tell
That it was much more
Than you'd expect.

My best friend left me
When I was twelve years old
That was the same year
That I was raped.
And no one will know
How badly it hurt me.

"My parents were mean,
As they all are"
I'll tell my dear friend
"They made me commit it,
At least, in the end."
So here I am,
Telling you all the
Happier times of life.

The person will be stunned
As all people are.
And when they ask,
I'll say that the best
Ever, were pajamas.

(sad sigh) My heart cries out to you in this heartaching poem of the woes of your early life! (big hugggsssssss) I know how hard it must be to deal with rape, for my cousin Teia too got raped young, and all else you've been through! (big hugggssssss) My heart is with you, and I pray you may heal from all this and such joy will follow for your golden heart! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

*sigh* my heart goes out to you....I know some of the pain you have been through for I have had similar experiences. I hope and pray that your life will bring much happiness into it to heal the pain you have already had to endure. Your words are heartfelt and very well written.

Welcome to Passions. You'll be surprised at the acceptance here. No one here will yell at you. Lifes realities are too stark. But your poem suggests that you have the strength to find a way thru. Please know that you have found a safe haven.
