The stillness of a cool night beneath a moons soft light.
Laughter intermixed with giggles heard from afar.
A single light shining from a distant window.
Silhouettes of love cavorting and passing through.
Love’s dance of the ages begins anew for two.

Two becoming one image against a softly lit backdrop.
Lips touching for centuries, slowly parting as tongues trail.
Soft touches departing from shadows, becoming two again.
An endless dance with silent music performed freely.

Dashing outside into the stillness, breath frosting.
Flushed faces filled with anticipation, waiting to be.
Soft whispers calling, awaiting a response, impatiently.
Shadows diffuse and become one among a star filled sky.

Soft moans, giggles, dashing too and fro, hiding.
Running excitedly away as butterflies, not a care.
Falling softly into mown hay, freshness abounds.
Clasping hands in passions embrace, shuddering.

Love under a moon filled sky, a smiling moon sighs

and listens to words of love. . .

this is very well done. . . I really like the way that you've set this scene. . . not too overdone, letting us fill in the details. . . that's when it's the best. . .

great job. . .

Sven....I like a poem to be delicate but
captivating.  I love to write this style.
And I love when someone else feels I have
done a good job of what I have written,
for that inspires me to write more. Thank
You for your great words.

Thanx Marg.  Yes,  the moon is such an
object of so many lovers and poets as well.
Certainly does get my attention too.

Oh Magnus, how romantic especially after a long, rain-filled day. Wonderful. Chris
