Miracles

I saw a miracle today..
the life of a man could have passed away.
His heart left weak, damaged by signs neglected
rendering him at deaths door, unexpected.
~*~
In silent vigil his family did pace
fear and tears upon their face.
The man lay critical in his bed,
others waiting in fear and dread.
~*~
Surgery began, only faith and hope remain
God we pray, his life to sustain.
angels were present in advance
a miracle performed, another chance.
~*~
Gratitude and peace for him and each other,
for the miracle of life, our dear sweet "brother".
