I seen you walk away
and sometimes
I've made you walk away
Selfishly
failing to feel
our love in its reality
Focusing in all that's wrong
Blinded by the world
Letting all that's good
in our hearts
be contaminated
and lost
Then coming back empty handed
Unable to say the one thing
that can save this marriage,
"I love you"
Our eyes have seen it all
our passion, our despair.

Oh my ... such a heartbreaking read Walker. If only those three words were easier to say and feel for some. A very emotive piece, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Walker, lovely write and so true.   It's amazing how those three little words can mean so very much.

*sigh* there is pain in every word of this heartfelt poem. Sometimes we let the world get too involved in our loves and in doing so we forget the uniqueness of why and how we fell in love. My heart goes out to you. I pray all will be well for you.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
