Love Is Love is such a fickle thing It can be soft as a feather Or have a bee-like sting. It can soar you to heights Hang your heart on a star Drop you down to your knees, Mock your tears from afar. Love is also a fragile thing It needs special care - Your constant understanding. Your sleep might be disrupted Your appetite seem strange Often fever is detected Emotions fight with change. But if you can be patient Allow life's dice to roll, Love can be a blessed thing For love can touch your soul. [This message has been edited by Nightshade (edited 10-14-2001).] |
