"Souls"

You have my soul,
do with it what you dare,
for, without you in my life
there is no air.

Some love is fated,
some love is blind,
but, for you and I -
our souls are entwined.

Even when weary
or feeling rather blue,
the thought of your smile
brings love to my heart, anew.

Even when apart
or dreaming in the night,
your beautiful eyes guide my way
like a sparkling light.

And, even in the end
as my life has come to pass,
I will die with a smile,
for, my love for you...everlasts!
