They are all up far away,

High 'O' mountain,

Far away from the hills,
Is so far away,

Even the day,
where I did It my way,
Where all Is so far away,
Even the touch of your love
everything remains,
But now,
where It Is said and done,
Is so far away,
Home where I live,
And love has given ,
Is so far away,
Even the heart and soul,
without love and heart,
Even Is so far away,,
Sometimes when I find you,
gone there,
And Is so far away,
The home I live,
The love I give,
Is so far far away,
Everything I owe Is so far away,
Is so far away,
The dreams I see,
While I sleep,
And the things I keep
Is so far far away

I recall this thought in a very old poem of mine after reading this poem.

"Sometimes things are standing in front of us so close, that they are a bit out of focus. We can't see them because we wouldn't be thinking to look that close"

Well..that is the basica idea, but not the actual wording of the poem. LOL! Its been too long.

I loved this though. It communicates well in its desperation and longing.

Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence.

Sometimes it seems if we just keep reaching we will take them within our grasp and at other times we pull back knowing they are so far away beyond our grasp. You have expressed it perfectly in this poem. Very well done.

I know exactly what you mean here. Sometimes what we dream for seems so far away. I myself, am getting myself some new dreams. Don't know if they'll be any closer, but they certainly can't be any farther away than the old ones.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
