Omnipresent a marbleized fresco
whirled in increasing frenzy,
darkening in anger.

Teared frustration uncontainable
in the troposhere linked
murmuring discontent.

Atmosphere declaring war
resounded a call to harm
with luminous discharge.

Tumultuous and cataclysmic deluge
pummeled a dry earthen bulwark
softening defenses.

Thickened clouds constructed a
mass configuration resembling
an accusatory finger.

Impoverished and discontent the
terminal digit ignored
complacent denizens,

Ignored the predictable and
circuitous grooves which was
the music of their lives

And as a too heavy Gram a Phone
needle scarred forever the
landscape of the world.

Twister- a tornado
Twister-a deceitful person

Landscape - a scarred horizon...
Landscape - a person's soul...

Excellent, Mr. Wells...

I hear you... I've seen the remnants of both nature's twisters and mankind's as well.  Nicely said, Richard..

Wow....powerful....and yes,  this can apply
to people as well.  They can tear apart lives
as much as nature.

I rode one of those out once. He fizzled to a dry heave somewhere out there in Texas! LOL! Yep...he lives amongst you somewhere. I'm sure you'll know when he's around...when you catch the downwind of something raunchy and rank. Excellent as always!...and don't stay away so long...some of us have emerged! LOL. I was starting to have withdrawals! Missed you around here.

PS. Thanks for the compliment!

Sincerely,
Regina

Stunning in its perfection. Not only could I see this power of nature but I could feel it as it spent its anger upon the world it briefly touches. ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!! And you are perfectly right, a deceitful person can leave behind this kind of devastation as well..leaving destruction that never heals. I have a poem about a this kind of storm that I think I will post. It is not as good or powerful as yours but maybe a few will like it. Thank you so very much, for sharing this with me.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Well Richard, it is Sunday, and I figured some sort of twister would appear, but there is no one that can personify or capture human emotions and "twist" and weave them into images with nature like you can.  The beauty of it though, after any "twister" is over, the inhabitants have new choices.(I know, forever the optimist!)  Wow, this is more like it - this was awesome Richard (got my widdle dictionary out twice) hah!   hugs, so glad you are back, we all missed you here.

Wow, your choice of words in this are like watching a movie!! I can see it very clearly, luckily from a safe distance. Chris

A wonderfully deep and descriptive piece absorbing both the human and natural aspects you've denoted. I've read this through several times looking from both vantages Richard, and this is truly an amazing write. Very well written indeed, I enjoyed the double perspective!

Best wishes,
/Kit
